Established March 1, 1872 — the first national park. About 2.2 million acres across WY, MT and ID. Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone Lake, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Mammoth Hot Springs.
States: WY, MT, ID. Region: West. 7-day fees: $35 vehicle / $30 motorcycle / $20 per person, plus $100 non-U.S. resident 16+ surcharge unless Annual / America the Beautiful Pass. Check nps.gov/yell before travel.
